The Philosophy of "Portal to Perception" Is simple. Reality is how we perceive it. How we perceive things can be changed. Therefore our reality can be changed. Walk through this door to your new reality.

Secondarily We believe that Burning Man is about boundaries. Each of us is asked to challenge our own boundaries in order to play in the environment. Hell some people don't even make it off their own couch. "oh hell no, you won't catch me out in that dusty hell hole with a bunch of nekkid freaks"!!  But here, some of us have made it all the way out here to the edge. There's a door asking you to acknowledge all of those boundaries you had to cross to get there.
